You walk one road from 25 to 65. Each year opens with what the papers say about the weather ahead, life deals its cards along the way, and you choose how your savings are split. At 65 the road shows what your mix did through every crash.
No. The weather is invented and the forecasts are unreliable on purpose; the end card counts their false alarms. The same seed deals the same market and the same cards whatever you choose, so two runs with different mixes are a fair comparison.
